We had an incredible time at BAU 2025 in Munich! 🌍✨ It was fantastic to collaborate and network with industry professionals, meet our users face-to-face, and explore the latest BIM and construction innovations shaping the built environment. (Find out more about BAU here: it’s one of the biggest built environment conferences in the world and the next one is in early 2027).

BIM continues to feature big
One of the standout trends at BAU? BIM continues to dominate! The focus on digital construction workflows, prefabrication, and sustainability was stronger than ever. It’s clear that integrated BIM solutions—like ArchiFrame’s approach to timber construction—are key to increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
(BAU also has a separate DigitalBAU event in Cologne – next one is 2026).
Demos, discussions & collabs

It was interesting to talk about ArchiFrame (and Archicad) from people from all over the world and talk about their challenges and triumphs in the world of timber construction and prefabrication.
A lot of people were interested in how the software can be adapted and customised, plus we also had a few in-depth talks about CNC. (More about how ArchiFrame integrates with popular CNC solutions here).
Meeting with our local users
Being in Munich meant we could meet with our wonderful local users.

Here we are with pro ArchiFrame users Josef Stratznig and Martin from Stratznig Holz- und Treppenbau.
It was so nice to meet in person and talk all things timber building, tech, and automation. Stratznig Holz- und Treppenbau is doing some excellent work when it comes to combining traditional joinery and carpentry with BIM. (Read our case study here).

Here we are with Markus Lindner: Markus is a long-time ArchiFrame user and it was great to talk to him in person. Markus founded his own construction company, Bauplanung Lindner, in 2018. As a building designer, Markus wanted to be in charge of the entire building process from design to the end result.
“Before finding ArchiFrame, I worked with Archicad to create design models, visualisations, and planning applications. For the factory planning phase, I used to have to switch to another program. Now that I’ve found ArchiFrame, the tedious switching between the two programs and the associated extra work has been eradicated”.

Our wonderful partners

Time for some partner appreciation.
Guido Bauer and the team from A-NULL Bausoftware GmbH were great stand partners! A-NULL is a fantastic ArchiFrame advocate and helps us with so many conversations and cases that we could not handle ourselves and provides a lot for the local BIM community.

Here we are with Marin Račić from 3D ART d.o.o. in Croatia – was great to see Marin and talk deals and strategy at BAU. Croatia is a growing market, and we are keen to see what we can achieve there together.
As well as networking at the event itself, we also took the opportunity to meet with our local partners at their offices…

We had a productive office visit and tasty Munich lunch with Schnitzer&, GSP Network & Doelker&. Amazing hospitality and it was so cool to see the Munich offices and meet some of the team.

We were also lucky to catch the end of the inspiring “Closing the Circle” exhibition highlighting circularity: fascinating to see the imaginative architectural models made using building waste materials.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of digital design together. 🚀
