At ArchiFrame, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve your experience and streamline your workflow so and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been working on a user interface (UI) upgrade that’s been keeping us busy behind the scenes.
This project is all about one thing: making ArchiFrame easier, faster, and more enjoyable to use. For people who use ArchiFrame every day at their jobs, we want to make the experience smoother and getting support faster and easier. For beginners, we want to make the way you use ArchiFrame a lot clearer and help you get going.
Reasoning behind the UI update: why now?
We have always known that there are some key ArchiFrame UI things to tackle, and we have gathered feedback and advice from our users over the years. All this knowledge and feedback, plus an understanding of intuitive design and the evolving BIM landscape, has inspired us to simplify and improve key ArchiFrame workflows and processes.
Thanks to feedback from our amazing users, we’ve identified key areas where a more intuitive and design can make a big difference and are focusing where we hope to have the biggest impact. The goal? To enhance productivity without changing the powerful functionality people already rely on.
We’re keeping what works and improving what can be better, so that you can get more out of ArchiFrame.
What changes can you expect
While the core functionality of ArchiFrame will stay the same, you’ll start noticing:
- A cleaner, more modern look and feel
- Simplified tool workflows and better navigation
- Visual cues, dialogs, and pointers to guide your next steps
- Faster onboarding for new users
- Smart UI improvements that support your decision-making.
These enhancements are being rolled out incrementally, so you’ll see updates gradually. This ensures you have plenty of time to adjust and explore the improvements without disrupting your work. You can also feedback to us in real-time so we can assess how the new design are landing.

Getting involved as users
We’re currently working with a small group of users to test and refine the new interface and we’d love to hear from more of you! If you’re interested in early access, giving feedback, or just seeing what’s coming next, let us know.

Message to our resellers
This UI refresh isn’t just great news for end users—it’s also designed to reduce onboarding time for new customers and improve overall usability, making ArchiFrame easier to demo, sell, and support.
We’ll be sharing early previews, marketing materials, and onboarding guides to help you showcase the updated interface to your prospects.
Our iterative approach
This is just the beginning of our long-term UI evolution, and we’re so excited to bring you along for the ride. We want to push these changes out in an iterative way so we can gauge reactions and usability in real-time. We really want to involve and empower people so that we can all work together towards a better ArchiFrame.
Together, we’re building the future of timber framing software: smarter, faster, and more intuitive for a more structured approach.
